Refund policy

Ancient Bath and Body does not accept returns on bath and body products due to their nature of being a personal care item. I will accept returns on other items as long as they have not been used, damaged, etc. Examples are: Candles, Diffuser Necklaces, Jewelry (other than earrings). I cannot accept returns on earrings, since this is worn technically in the body.

I do not refund the purchase cost based on personal taste, such as scent, color, or texture. We try our best to describe the scents based on the descriptions provided by the fragrance oil, essential oil manufacturer and what we think of them when we smell them.

Please note: If you are unhappy with an item and you want to return the item you are responsible for the return shipping cost and packaging. I send everything very securely in my shipping boxes, I expect the same in return with return shipping. If I receive the item damaged for a return product. I will not refund your order. If you need tips on packaging an item securely please feel free to ask me. I will be more than happy to help. When I receive the return package and everything looks good. I will refund your purchase for the item only. Shipping is non-refundable!

In general if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me so we can discuss an appropriate solution. I really am easy going regardless of how my policies sound. I have to be stern with my policies, just as every other shop and small business owner.

I do not accept exchanges on bath and body products do to their nature of being a personal care product.

I do accept exchanges on other items such as candles, jewelry (NOT including earrings), Abalone Shells, etc... As long as nothing has been used, damaged, etc. If you are wanting to exchange an item you are responsible for the return shipping cost and and packaging. Again, if you would like helpful tips on secure packaging please message me. I will be more than happy to help.

When I receive the item in tact I will send out your item you would like to be exchanged. Please note, you will be charged for shipping again for the item being exchanged. I do not charge for packaging supplies. I only charge for shipping because I get charged for shipping. I will not send out the exchanged item before I receive the item being returned. Please understand.

In general, please bee 100% sure when you order an item that it is exactly what you want before you officially place your order, so we can avoid exchanges. I know it's difficult on both ends and I would really like for you to be happy with Ancient Bath and Body products :-)

We ship via USPS either First Class or Priority Mail (This will show up when you make your purchase). When I ship USPS Priority Mail I do this to ensure quick 2-3 day delivery and all packages come with insurance up to $100.00. Due to holidays and weather sometimes packages take a bit longer than 2-3 days, but it doesn't happen often.

ANCIENT BATH AND BODY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED PACKAGES. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ONCE YOUR PACKAGE IS SHIPPED WE DO NOT HAVE CONTROL OF HOW LONG IT TAKES TO REACH ITS DESTINATION, WE ALSO DO NOT HAVE CONTROL OF WHAT HAPPENS TO THE PACKAGE DURING THE COURSE OF ITS JOURNEY THROUGH THE MAIL.

IF YOU LIVE IN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX WHERE YOUR PACKAGE IS TOO BIG TO FIT YOUR MAILBOX AND YOUR MAIL CARRIER LEAVES YOUR PACKAGE BY YOUR MAILBOX AND YOUR PACKAGE GROWS LEGS AND WALKS AWAY. THIS IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO TELL ME SO I CAN SHIP YOUR PACKAGE TO ANOTHER ADDRESS. IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA WHERE MAIL IS OFTEN STOLEN OR GOES MISSING, THIS IS ALSO SOMETHING YOU NEED TO TELL ME SO I CAN SHIP IT TO ANOTHER ADDRESS. I WILL NOT REFUND A PACKAGE THAT HAS BEEN DELIVERED AND VERIFIED BY USPS, FED EX OR UPS! THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.

I do everything I can to make every customer happy, but there are very rare events that a package may get stolen or damaged. This is why I have $100 insurance on every single package that the post office will refund if the package is damaged or undelivered. I am not Ebay, Walmart or Amazon that will refund an order just because a package doesn't get delivered even though the mail carriers have verified delivery. I am a small business owner who is up front and honest with how I do business, so please try and understand where I am coming from as well. I understand this can be frustrating on a customers part as well. Again, this is why I have insurance for all of the packages I ship. This protects both buyer and seller.

We ship orders out usually on Fridays and Saturdays, excluding holidays.

If you are buying for gifts please order a head of time. Ordering at least 14 days a head of time is recommended for shipping.
